APPETIZERS

FRIED FISH WITH BEAN

A delicacy served on street corners for a light evening meal.

INGREDIENTS

1 kg black eyed beans
1 kg fish fillet
50 ml oil for frying
Salt to taste

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Season the fish
Shallow fry both sides of fish
Slice bread into rectangle shape and toast
Serve beans on toasted bread with the fish

Nambeh nyebeh sauce

2 medium onions
½ cup vegetable stock
1 medium local hot pepper
1bunch spring onion
1 clove garlic


Sauce instructions

Sauté the onion until soft and add garlic and spring onions, continuing to sauté and
season add water and reduce heat to simmer for 5 to 8 minutes.
Serve sauce on the side
