A tropical African dessert made with the wonjo flower
1 teaspoon salt
2 Tbsp. Baking Powder
1 cup crushed cashews nuts
Red food coloring
Wash and boil the wonjo, strain and set aside to cool
Whip the butter to form cream, dredge in flour and sugar
Add whisked eggs
Combine ingredients with red food coloring
Pour into greased baking pan and bake 15 to 30 minutes
Once baked slice cake horizontally, add crushed wonjo and replace top
Sprinkle top with crushed cashew nuts
Cool and serve.
